Another Gustav Broström brooch
While Gustav has been sorely missed at Mode Man, his departure from the Swedish menswear blog doesn't mean he's lost his touch. Yvan again takes a snap of him on the French blogger's trip to Stockholm.
Who would have thought yarn would look so spiffy with a suit jacket? Previously, he used a giant safety pin, and it was Scott who photographed him.
I bet these are just some of his accessories from his treasure trove. Go see his new blog to find out exactly what these items are.
Gustav Broström from Stockholm

Gustav appears again on Stockholm Street Style, after being spotted by Scott Schuman.
What's more, we discover that he also blogs for a site called Mode Man.

I especially like his entry on biker boots. Besides that, he has good catalogue-like selections on specific items, looks constructed from separate pieces, notes on editorials, and even street shoots.
This is him with punk hair inspired by Hedi Slimane.

From brooch to coat fastener
Swedish fashion editor Gustav Broström reuses his enlarged safety pin brooch to close his coat.
Both shot by Scott Schuman. You can see the development in the style of photos from The Sartorialist. The bottom one was taken in August 2008 and the top one just recently.
Gustav Broström at Sweden's A Perfect Guide

Remember Gustav Broström? He used to blog on his personal blogger page, but now, with a flower in his mouth, he dispenses his musings on his very own section on one of Sweden's largest online blogs, A Perfect Guide.

If you still can't remember, here are two pictures of him on The Sartorialist. He calls this period his preppy days.

You can see a slight transformation in these images taken by Facehunter.

With his leather jacket and finalized pompadour, he says: "By the way, I have become a rebel. I'm wearing Dr. Martens, listening to Bowie and trying to be cool..."

Of course we're convinced, with or without the help of a stuffed pheasant.

Or his face showing. (Nice ring!) "This is how i looked on the club Good Pussy at Spybar here in Stockholm."

Lots of interesting stuff on Gustav's blog, from fashion and style to art and contemporary culture. Also these well-coordinated collages.

Which, reminds me: I've only done two!
Fur vs feathers: Pelayo vs Gustav

Spanish Londoner Pelayo Diaz Zapico (above) and Swedish blogger Gustav Broström (below) battle it out again on this blog. Previously, it was through a comparison of two streetstyle snaps.
Pelayo appears here as part of an editorial for Ribbed Magazine, wearing pieces by Katie Eary.

Gustav, meanwhile, makes an appearance on the blog of Yvan Rodic, otherwise known as Facehunter. Gustav likes brooches.
None of the pompadoured gentlemen is wearing their animal coverings for protection. So the question is: do you prefer refined over beastly?
