seattle & friends...

The last 2 posts were all about my vintage experiences in Seattle, today's are all about the city, the scenery, & most importantly my friends. I got the chance to visit with two of my oldest friends from high school, Monica (the lovely tall blond) & Maria (the beautiful petite one). Monica lives in Seattle with her hubby & two adorable dogs, & Maria came in town from Columbus. 

More than the shopping & the food, I was so very happy to spend time with such fabulous ladies. We had an amazing time together & it made me quite sad we don't all live in the same city. Maybe one day....

Anyways, I took photos galore of our time together including trips to the beach & Pikes Place Market...

I miss my girlfriends, I want to go back already!!

seattle vintage shopping part 2...

This was the first shop we walked into during our vintage outing & it was by far my favorite! The shop was called Vintage Wears Boutique & it is located in the Fremont District of Seattle. The shop is run by a lovely lady named Steph, who lived right about the adorable little shop (which is basically my dream). 

I loved the shop so much because the pieces were really unique & wearable. I love looking at vintage clothes that are costume like, but I don't ever buy them. Nearly everything in this shop I would buy! It was also merchandised to perfection, see for yourself...

If you are ever in Seattle I highly recommend stopping by!

seattle vintage shopping, part 1...

Yeah Seattle photos! I was really impressed with the vintage shopping scene in Seattle, & really excited that the first thing we did when I got to Seattle was check it all out!

I took lots of photos because that's just the kind of lady that I am...

sneak peek at the new place...

Like I mentioned yesterday I have been in a time crunch since I got back from my little trip. I did however have some time this morning before work to snap some photos of my new place with my trusty iphone... 

I will post more when we get settled & take them with an actual camera, but for now I have a little peek for you :)

I know you can't tell much from these, but it's pretty lovely. I can't wait till we are all unpacked and decorated!

I am going Seattle for a long weekend with some lovely long time girlfriends. I am super excited to see a new city & spend the weekend with amazing people. I can't wait to take obsessive amounts of photos!

let's play catch up...

So. I have been missing my camera cord for a little over a week, which means no photos for you, which is sad. But don't worry virtual friends, I dug said camera cord out of a box that boyfriend packed prematurely & tada! photos of the past couple weeks.

So very exciting right??

You just looked at (in no particular order) - Denver's first county fair, beer festival in the Plains, camping trip up at Black Hawk, our new apartment building, & Jazz in the Park...

Ahhh summer time :)
