Let me tell you about Russell, Kaira, Katrina, and Paula, and how I met them over at the dark side of Serendra on an otherwise predictable night of costume parties.

“Eternal Death Wake 6: Grand Gothic Ball 2008” was my first brush with the world of goth, its music, aesthetics, and practitioners—not to mention the first ever Halloween party I dressed up for. Begun in 2002, the event has become an annual gathering for musicians, music lovers, and enthusiasts to call on the dead with their eerie screeches, morbid dressing, and heavy black make-up.

Let this be my first cameo appearance on my blog. Too bad the obi is not obvious, wrapped around the waist and falling in two flaps at the back, like two tails.

Wow. I have been a SUPER bad blogger! I guess I have just been really busy. I got a new job in my new city of Denver, so I have been a working gal! I am an assistant to a Image Consultant (basically a stylist). It has been an exciting busy first couple weeks, but I am getting back into a routine again, so hopefully I can start blogging again.

Anyways...I thought you all might like to see some photos of me & the boyfriend dressed as classic Night of the Living Dead zombies (we went to a zombie party this past weekend). Our outfits are vintage & I think, pretty fabulous.

vintage horror...

...it's that time of year again...

The boyfriend & I ♥ horror movies. He especially loves old school horror movies & has gotten me quite turned onto them as well. In addition to our love for scary vintage flicks, it is also that spooky time of year again giving us an extra excuse to watch all things frightening (plus we don't have cable, so movies are our only source of entertainment).
