It was in 2009 that I first sold my first Bosquejo necklace. I didn't even have a brand name then, much less a product website. The first pieces that I sold highly resemble the items in this moon series, even though they were labelled differently: Dominion and Guillotine. See for yourself why.
The necklace above is called Calypso, after a moon of Saturn. All necklaces belong to the Hardware collection.
The earliest satellite necklace was named Tethys, which has sold out already. The one above is named after Mimas, which also orbits Saturn.
I remember there was Telesto, which I sold to a jewelry designer but I wasn't able to document the piece. The "moon" above goes by the name of Io, which belongs to Jupiter, and is also the name of one of the priestesses of Hera, the Greek goddess who is always throwing tantrums at Zeus/Jupiter.
This series of accessories is made from bobbins, "cable connectors" (my own name for those things attached to wires you plug behind the TV), stainless steel nuts, eyelets, and materials for bags and belts, with beads made of stainless steel, plastic, and coated nickel.
The "piece of rock" above has been dubbed "Tetanya".
As their namesakes are massive, these necklaces are also heavier than your usual plastic/PVC accessories. But you get used to them after just a few minutes, by which time you become more aware not just of gravity, but also the pull of people's stares.
This next showpiece is called Kalyke, which I named after my friend and fellow blogger, Karl.
The name Thelxinoe goes after Mike, the "Toxic Disco Boy".
