Every time I started to get really excited about our trip to NY, my excitement was tempered with thoughts of... what the %&*# am I going to wear?! I don't think we could have picked a colder weekend to be walking around the city and I am not a girl who enjoys being cold. Don't get me wrong... I like cold weather, I just don't like being cold. There's a difference, no? So, into the trusty street style folder I went, sure I'd find some inspiration to keep me from resigning to dressing like an Eskimo.
- Short dresses, thick tights, woolly coats... I think I can do this! These girls look toasty warm in their layers.
- OK, there's a little bit of crazy going on in this one but I do love the creative layering.
- This is my fave and definitely what I'll be going for this weekend. Simple, classy and most of all warm!
- Oh, the infamous Topshop sailor coat. I was watching one on Ebay that just ended for $264! Yikes! Speaking of Topshop, there's one in NY now. Hmmm... must put that on my list of things to do.
